ENTRY 12: Analize your oral presentations

Analysis of oral presentations should be done from different perspectives. From the point of view of our group`s performance, it was clear and using examples which was not in the book was a right choice because it allows a correct interpretation of the subject by our classmates. Particularly, I am satisfied with my performance because I think it was clear and I could convey the contents. However, I was so focused on not forgetting anything that I neglects intonation, this is a point I have to improve. Although we prepared a powerpoint it was not advantageous because the screen was too small to be seen by the other groups. Consequently, I decide to improvise and to use the blackboard as a resource. One of the main points I centred my attention was to establish eye contact and make audience participate. From the point of view of the other groups ‘performance, I was able to take down notes during my mates‘ presentations, which allowed me to understand the whole chapter though sometimes exhibitions were tedious and I became confused. Nevertheless it was a fruitful experience. Listening, Writing, Speaking and Reading were again the actors of a class. The four skills were clearly explained. The explanations contribute to our knowledge.
